With 15-plus years’ experience delivering engineering and project management, Engineering & Environmental Services (EES) QLD Principal Engineer Andrew Mitchell has a passion for achieving results. Andrew carved his initial career as a fitter and turner in the sugar industry. Today, Andrew is an experienced design, construct, mechanical engineer and project manager. This experience combined has equipped Andrew with a great appreciation for the elements of design, project delivery and sustainable maintenance spanning Queensland’s mining, mineral processing, refineries and bulk material handling facilities. Throughout his career, Andrew has personally managed and competently delivered multi-million-dollar projects.
Andrew Mitchell is the Principal Engineer, a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) Mechanical and a Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM). He has a passion for achieving results, every project presents a unique set of challenges which in turn provides an opportunity to create effective solutions to meet business requirements.
His career started out as an apprentice fitter and turner in the sugar industry and since progressed from draftsman, design engineer, construction engineer to project manager across mining, mineral processing, refineries and bulk material handling facilities.
This experience ensures any managed project is delivered from concept, definition, execution through to handover.
